Pension and Private Valuations
Small Self Administered Scheme (SSAS) are suited to groups of individuals
who run a common businesses and wish to have complete control over the pension fund
Self-Invested Personal Pension (SIPPs) are a type of Personal Pension
Plan, and in common with personal pension schemes, are tax "wrappers", allowing
tax rebates on contributions in exchange for limits on accessibility.
Both schemes allow investment in Commercial Property, although Residential Property
is specifically excluded.
AJP Surveyors are active in providing capital valuations which fulfil the report
requirements set out by Pension Administrators. We also assist on an ongoing basis
by providing updated rental level information with regard to the lease between the
occupier and the pension fund.
GENERAL AND PRIVATE VALUATIONS
We can undertake single instructions and portfolio work, acting as an independent
consultant or as part of a client's in-house property team. There are many reasons
why such valuations may be requested which include:
Capital Gains Tax Valuations may be required for both current and
historical purposes to assist with Tax planning
Company Purposes & Asset Registers We undertake valuation work
for companies which require periodic updates on the value of their property assets.
This includes both trading entities and property investment / development companies.
We can work as independent experts or work in conjunction with in-house teams at
General Valuation Advice We provide reports indicating current
values and likely achievable values within specified marketing periods to assist
in financial decision making.
All in cases our valuation work is carried out by RICS Registered Valuers who will
actively engage with the client to ensure that their specific requirements are met.
